Kayak Adventure Camp Staff

This camp requires approximately 3 individuals who are friendly, trustworthy, dedicated, and caring to donate six days of their time to being on staff. What you get in return is priceless. Are you one of them? 

The campers who attend this camp, and whom you’d be caring for, are age 18–25 and are cancer survivors.

Due to the nature and size of this camp, all volunteer positions are invite-only.

• Counselor: be a primary leader while at camp for a group of young adults. This includes helping give directions, set expectations, and resolve group dynamics. This position will work closely with the camp director to develop an agenda for the week. NOTE: these individuals need to have an intermediate level of kayak experience.

• Provider: this position cares for the physical well being of our campers and staff while in remote areas during the camp adventure. They will administer meds as needed, and will be able to triage and treat minor and major medical needs. NOTE: this individual should have entry-level to intermediate kayak experience.
