Sibling Ski Camp Staff

This camp requires approximately 10 individuals who are friendly, trustworthy, dedicated, and caring to donate three days of their time to being on staff. What you get in return is priceless. Are you one of them?

The campers who attend this camp, and whom you’d be caring for, are age 11–17 and a sibling of a cancer patient.

In a change from previous years, we will be offering snowboarding as an option in addition to skiing. The ratio of skiers to snowboarders will be determined by camper interest and staff expertise.

positions

Every position at camp is a needed position at camp. To create a magical and effective team we need a variety of skills and personalities:

  • Counselor: be the lead for a group of campers for this weekend-long camp. This requires 24x7 supervision of children and sleeping in shared accommodation. NOTE: this person should be an intermediate to strong skier or snowboarder.

  • Nurse: be the primary care giver for campers. This includes the administering of medications, as well as general care for scrapes, sprains, etc. NOTE: this person may not ski, but skiing experience is a bonus.
