You & Me Retreat Staff
This weekend retreat requires approximately 10-13 individuals who are friendly, trustworthy, dedicated, and caring to donate three days of their time to being on staff. What you get in return is priceless. Are you one of them?
Volunteers with the following attributes will be considered for staff positions:
Have previously volunteered at Camp Goodtimes
Can change gears easily and wear many different hats (counselor, muscle, A&C, lead songs, etc.)
Have skills that apply to a large range of ages
Can work well with and in the presence of parents
Have exemplified these and other positive qualities while at Camp Goodtimes
The participants of this camp are families who have been impacted by childhood cancer. Programming is aimed at children ages 7-17 and their parents. There will be one parent and one child from each family. Families will share cabins or reside in a private room. Families will be grouped into cabin groups.

The You & Me Retreat is an all-hands-on-deck type of program and we’re looking for versatile staff who can adapt and fill multiple shoes:
Counselor/Group Leader: Be the point person for your group of participants (parents and children) as they navigate their way through the weekend.
Activities Leader: Host activities throughout the weekend such as Nerf War, games, etc.
Arts & Crafts Leader: Host arts-related activities
Muscle/Logistics: Active at the retreat by setting things up and moving supplies.

ELIGIBILITY
Volunteers must have previously worked at Camp Goodtimes.
Goodtimes-required immunizations must be up-to-date (view Goodtimes’ immunization policy).

If you believe that you would be a great addition to our camp staff and are available on the retreat dates listed above, simply visit the online application and follow the instructions to submit it by the Dec 15, 2025 deadline. Once submitted, the program manager will review your application. Official hiring notices will be sent by early January.
